We’ve all seen them. Those funny little squiggly squares that remind us of a Rubik’s Cube. What are they exactly, how do they work and how can businesses benefit from them?

Created by and until recently, patent protected by Japanese auto maker Toyota, QR Code is short for Quick Response Code and consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background. Containing thousands of characters of information, they allow for immediate transfer of information.
